Monday, January 29, 2018. When I was 24, I had my first opportunity to serve on a jury. We were empaneled for 2 weeks. During that time, I came to deeply appreciate the American justice system. The woman sitting next to me, in addition to performing her civic duty, also knit a vest. That book had a profound effect on me. I started knitting, worked the easy projects in the book, and branched out to other easy patterns.

Thinking differently about knitting for charities. Combines my passion for knitting with my desire to give back to my community. While many knitters generously donate their handmade goods to deserving charities, I prefer to sell my hand-knits to generate cash for non-profits. By sharing my experience, I hope to inspire others to raise money for charities by selling their handmade items. About making and selling hand-knits for a good cause.
